  1. Where is Loving Thunder? We protect our riders privacy by requiring an appointment to visit the ranch. Call 505-554-9493 for the address and appointment.
  2. What age does Loving Thunder serve? Eligible riders are age 4 and up.
  3. What disabilities are served?  We serve any disability.  Commonly our riders have Autism, Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, PTSD, Anxiety disorders, Sensory Processing, and lots more.  Call for more information.
  4. What is the minimum age for volunteering?- Age 14 is minimum age for independent volunteering.  Children under 14 can be accompanied by an adult and volunteer at times when lessons are not actively being held.
  5. I don't know anything about horses or disabilities, can I still help out? Yes, we offer training to help you become a valuable volunteer.  You just need to be eager to learn and willing to be outside with the horses.  If you are not able to help in the lessons then you can help with office work, marketing, or fundraising.
  6. Are camps available?-Yes, We offer lots of options, from a simple ranch tour to a full day of camper activities.  We are able to come to your location (in most cases) or you come to us. Call us for our camp pricing and availability for click for the CAMP PRICING form.
